I like to have a map, a real paper map, of each town.

Kunnallisessa hostellissa vaeltaja saa viipyä vain yhden yön. Onneksi löytyi viihtyisä paikka parannella käpälää, el Labriego.
In a municipal hostel only one night stays are allowed. With my sore foot it was not possible to go on, but I found a perfect place to stay, el Labriego with its many cats.

Hostelli oli rakennettu vanhaan kirkkoon. Kerrossängyn yläsängyssä kattoon oli kymmenisen metriä.
The hostel was built in an old church. I enjoyed lying in my bed, looking the ceiling ten meters above.

The most important thing for a wanderer is to have fitting shoes. Mine were excellent.

Usually the route was well marked. Sometimes I asked, and all people were kind and helped. Occasionally there was a crossroad without signs and I had to guess. One kilometer later I started to hesitate, show wanderers far on the other road and decided to go through the fields. Of coarse I found very wet places.
In the hostel the elegant lade told that there was no place to dry shoes and the drying machine only could be used if the laundry was washed in their own washing machine. After a few hours I had dry shoes – surely the cleanest in the hostel.

Istuin varjossa seinustalla ja piirsin nopeasti, ennenkuin ensimmäiset sadepisarat alkoivat rummuttaa aukiota. Seuraavana aamuna oli ihana lähteä raikkaan puhtaalle taipaleelle.
